A-MANTIS (DOMESTIC NOIR) (2025)
An unsettling surrealist intervention into the domestic space that subverts the traditional Film Noir archetype. The artist replaces the human antagonist with the biological predator (the Mantis), transforming moral ambiguity into a biological, inescapable fatality.
This work establishes a Kafkaesque game of hunter and hunted, where the essential question is not who the killer is, but whether the fatal act is a conclusion of the relationship or a predetermined psycho-sexual destiny.
