Evelio Moreno (BISONT)
Evelio Moreno (BISONT) is a Mexican artist with a significant European practice, specializing in mixed media assemblage, painting, and site-specific installation.
His work centers on the deconstruction of the figure, translating mass-media iconography and material waste (cardboard, newspaper) into complex forms. His current thesis explores the tension between the body's fragility and its contemporary status as a Biological Machine (Metamorphosis), often confronting the figure with the Manufactured Ideal (The Nude and the Beast).
