Born from a paused frame of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, this work is an exploration of athletic tension pushed to the limits of the psycho-erotic. Moreno captures the moment when the physical contact of rugby ceases to be merely sports-related and transforms into an instinctive dance of dominance and vulnerability. The composition presents a raw duality: while one figure buries her face in the turf in a gesture of surrender or resistance, the other holds her with the power of her limbs, evoking the ferocity of a cockfight where anatomy becomes a weapon. The piece celebrates the aesthetic of worked and tense bodies, transmuting sweat and impact into a narrative of constant flux. Executed on industrial wrapping paper and canvas, the work utilizes Austrian press collage to anchor this global impulse within the local territory, suggesting that the conflict and beauty of the body are universal languages filtered through digital media.
