Conceived as an allegory of the Phoenix, this self-portrait emerges from the destruction of mass-produced packaging, consolidating the intersection of a Mexican artist with strong ties in Austria. The work, which grants new formal life to discarded objects, is a winning piece from the 2022 National Maruchan Sopart Contest, acquired and now part of the Maruchan Corporate Collection.
