This body of work explores the transformation of discarded matter into critical form, utilizing the expressive power of the human figure. The series showcases medium-to-large format sculpture, alongside monumental mixed media works on found cardboard.
The ambition is demonstrated in works such as the 2.5 meter painting, which uses semi-burned, industrial packaging as a canvas to depict exposed figures confronting Mexican police. By leveraging the material's inherent history of degradation, the series delivers a potent social commentary on media vulgarity, violence, and the vulnerability of the body.
The act of building permanent forms from fragile materials is the core thesis, culminating in the artist's individual exhibition at the Kunsthaus Weiz, Austria, in 2026, bridging monumental ambition with technical mastery.

METAMORPHOSIS II: THE ARCHITECTURE OF EFFORT
Rooted in the retrieval and reinterpretation of digital sports iconography, this series translates the ephemeral pixel into material reality. The artist explores the athletic body as a site of voluntary metamorphosis, deconstructing high-performance anatomy through a dialogue between collage, painting, and ink.
The tension of the muscles mirrors the tension of the materials, capturing the primitive human drive for glory. In these works, the body ceases to be flesh and becomes structure, assembled effort, and biological machinery.
LA ARQUITECTURA DEL ESFUERZO
Basada en el rescate y la reinterpretación de la iconografía deportiva digital, esta serie traduce el píxel efímero a la realidad matérica. El artista explora el cuerpo atlético como un sitio de metamorfosis voluntaria, deconstruyendo la anatomía del alto rendimiento a través de un diálogo entre el collage, la pintura y la tinta.
La tensión de los músculos refleja la tensión de los materiales, capturando el impulso humano primitivo por la gloria. En estas obras, el cuerpo deja de ser carne para convertirse en estructura, esfuerzo ensamblado y maquinaria biológica.

A dystopic study of control and physical obedience. This piece is executed on discarded cardboard from an autonomous cleaner, linking the subject matter to the critique of automation. Inspired by a 1970s film frame, the figures are frozen in a non-place, engaging in an unreal, mandated sport. The use of brush, ink, and Prismacolor on cardboard emphasizes the tension between the fluid, dynamic action and the rough, discarded material of the system that governs them.
Un estudio distópico sobre el control y la obediencia física. Esta pieza está ejecutada sobre cartón de desecho de una aspiradora autónoma, conectando el tema con la crítica a la automatización. Inspirada en un frame de cine de los años 70, las figuras están congeladas en un no-lugar, participando en un deporte irreal y obligatorio. El uso de pincel, tinta china y Prismacolor sobre cartón enfatiza la tensión entre la acción fluida y el material desechado del sistema que los gobierna.
