SYNCRETISM AND THE MATERIC FIGURE
This series explores the complex identity forged at the intersection of European classicism and Pre-Hispanic Latin American symbolism. Using the nude figure as a central vessel, the work employs mixed media and layering (collage) to address cultural synthesis and historical weight.
The contrast between the refined material and the raw body reflects the dichotomy of colonial legacies and contemporary identity, rooting the work in the dual geographical landscape of the artist's practice.
Esta serie explora la compleja identidad forjada en la intersección del clasicismo europeo y el simbolismo prehispánico latinoamericano. Utilizando la figura desnuda como un recipiente central, la obra emplea técnica mixta y capas (collage) para abordar la síntesis cultural y el peso histórico.
El contraste entre el material refinado y el cuerpo crudo refleja la dicotomía de los legados coloniales y la identidad contemporánea, arraigando la obra en el doble paisaje geográfico de la práctica del artista.

DOLL FACTORY / NOCTURNAL IMMERSION
Structured as a storyboard, this work bridges the artist's dual practice of painting and filmmaking. It visually deconstructs the atmospheric tension of Bertrand Bonello’s 'The Beast' (La Bête), freezing the film’s underwater sequences into a static meditation on artificiality and the suppression of memory.
The yellow 'industrial' background contrasts with the submerged figure, critiquing the manufacturing of emotions in a post-human era.
Estructurada como un storyboard, esta obra une la práctica dual del artista entre pintura y cine. Deconstruye visualmente la tensión atmosférica de 'La Bestia' (La Bête) de Bertrand Bonello, congelando las secuencias subacuáticas de la película en una meditación estática sobre la artificialidad y la supresión de la memoria.
El fondo amarillo 'industrial' contrasta con la figura sumergida, criticando la manufactura de las emociones en una era post-humana.
