THE NUDE AND THE BEAST
THE NUDE AND THE BEAST investigates the human figure at its most vulnerable, confronting its primordial, mythological, and manufactured counterparts.
The body serves as the stage for this confrontation: the Beast is not merely an animal, but a psychological or cultural proxy. Mythological masks, biological predators (the mantis), and symbols of artificial perfection (the plastic doll) all converge to dissect the latent tension between desire and destruction.
This axis transforms the nude from a subject of traditional beauty into an archive of primal tension and existential threat.

A surrealist intervention into the domestic space. The title is a Spanish wordplay merging 'Mantis' and 'Amantes' (Lovers), emphasizing the lethal nature of the relationship.
The scene takes on a Kafkaesque and psychological tension. The artist inserts the giant insect, establishing a game of hunter and hunted that plays with the Mantis's biological fate. The ambiguity lies in the essential question: has the fatal act of the 'lover' already occurred, or is it about to happen?

PLASTIC ARTS: THE UNATTAINABLE MUSE
Title: PLASTIC ARTS: THE UNATTAINABLE MUSE
Technique: Mixed Media on Canvas
Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm
Year: 2024
This piece depicts an erotic tragedy of materials. The wooden mannequin—the artist's humble proxy—is locked in a sensual attempt to possess the Barbie, the embodiment of a synthetic ideal.
It plays on the irony of the 'Plastic Arts': the creator trying to breathe life into a mass-produced perfection that is physically compatible yet ontologically unreachable. A dialogue between the rigidity of wood and the eternal, hollow nature of plastic.

A study in psychological noir, reinterpreting classic black-and-white film iconography. The Sharpie drawing technique recreates the interference of an old transmission, where the light is obscured by a domestic object. The figure attempts to hide their identity, but the presence of the Hound of Consciousness (or primal instinct) is revealed, painted directly onto a newspaper substrate. This work investigates the tension between the constructed self and the raw impulse that lies beneath the surface.

VIRTUAL ECSTASY (Éxtasis Virtual)
VIRTUAL ECSTASY (Éxtasis Virtual) Addressing themes of dreams and altered realities, Virtual Ecstasy explores the profound impact of digital technology on human desire. Crafted from discarded cardboard, this sculpture depicts a figure in a state of intense sensory arousal, wearing a virtual reality headset. The binary code (01110011 01100101 01111000) subtly integrated into the headset, translates to 'SEX', exposing the interplay between technology, simulated experience, and raw human instinct. The use of recycled cardboard starkly contrasts the ephemeral nature of digital pleasure with the tangible, discarded matter of our physical world.
